Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha State unit president V.V.
Rajesh said here on Friday that dichotomy characterised the government
policy on contributory pension.
Mr. Rajesh told
presspersons that the government, on one hand, said it would hold
discussions with service organisations and political parties on the
pension scheme. On the other hand, it maintained that it would not go
back on the decision to introduce the scheme. There were also attempts
to exclude ministers and their personal staff and members of the
Assembly from the scheme.
Mr. Rajesh said that if
contributory pension scheme was beneficial, it should be first
introduced for the ministers and their staff and members of the House.
